With your adult at home, have a go at writing a simple acrostic poem for your name. You could start by writing some key words next to each letter. Example
Lovely
Unique
Caring
Youthful
Now try it with some names of your family members.
Task 2

Now imagine you are the snowman. Record what you can see, hear, smell, taste and touch in the boxes below. Remember to use describing words to make your work more interesting.
Task 3
Look back at your ideas from your senses grid.
Match your best ideas to the first letter of the word snowman. Remember to write the word vertically in your book.
