Task 1
This week we are learning about wolves.
What would you like to find out this week? Write some questions that we can research in class.
Example - What continent do wolves live in?
Read the fact file then answer the questions.
Task 3
Watch the video to remind yourself of what a coordinating conjunction is.
Use the conjunctions or and but so to write sentences about wolves.
Look back at the fact file to help you to get some ideas.
Examples
Wolves can hunt alone or they can hunt in packs.
Wolves eat wild rabbits and they also eat hares.
Wolves can survive in hot temperatures but they can also survive in freezing, cold temperatures.
Task 4
Today we are going to write sentences with different forms about wolves.
Look at the image below. I have a question, exclamation and statement about the wolf.
Now think about other questions (?), exclamations (!) and sentences you can write about wolves. Look back at your work from task 1 to help you.
Write three questions, three exclamation sentences and three statements.
Task 5
Open the planning document and read each heading. Today we are using our knowledge of wolves to plan our writing. Add words and phrases to each section to complete your plan.
