When we are thankful for the things we have, we call this 'gratitude'. It is easy to feel like the whole world is against us sometimes, but by trying to find all of the positives in our day, we can start to feel so much happier with what we DO have!
Why don't you start by writing a 'gratitude' list - you will find that you have more things to be thankful for than you think!
You can also:
- Send out thank you cards
- Look for amazing moments in your day - sometimes these are the smallest things (someone making you laugh with a funny joke, the sunset, blue sky, a hug that made you feel loved)
- Give someone a compliment
- Write it in your diary
- Write a letter of all the things you are thankful for right now to your future self
- Always look for the positive
