Even when times are hard, it's important to try be positive about yourself.
So... what is Self Esteem?
Create a mind map of all the positive things about YOU.
Think of all of the things that you are good at and all the positive things that people say about you.
I am kind
I am ambitious
I work hard at school
Why not have a go at making your own Zig Zag book.
Include all the things that make you happy or make you feel positive, so if at times your feel sad you can look at your book and remind yourself of all the things that make you happy!
You might want to include;
- images of your family / friends
- your pets
- a book or a piece of music that makes you happy
- use your favourite colours
