Can you add the suffix ing onto the end of the words?
Now use the three 'ing' words to write about what happens to the main characters in the story.
Example - The evil pea has been drawing on broccoli's face.
Thursday 6th May
LO: To use the suffix ing within my writing.
Yesterday we had a crime scene in our room. Read the letter below from Mr Platt.
Today we are going to plan our response to Mr Platt by using a writing frame. Look at the example below and fill in the missing parts of the writing frame. Remember to include the words with the suffix 'ing' within your writing. Think carefully about what happened to the different vegetables.
Friday 7th May
LO: To sequence sentences to form short narratives.
Today we are going to write our letters up neatly to send to Mr Platt. We must remember to use
- capital letters
- full stops
- spaces between words
- words with the suffix ing
Below is a writing frame to look at to help you to present your work. Remember while writing to keep rereading your work to check that it makes sense.
