Writing Your Own Haiku

Here are a few ideas of what you can write your poem about:

You could also write about:

- Your freinds

- Your family

- Your teacher

- Football

- Your favourite YouTuber

- What you miss about school

Use the template below to help you with writing your own Lockdown Haiku:

Haiku poems are very short so you could write as many different poems as you want. Just remember to use the 5 - 7 - 5 rule!

Once you've done writing your poem, draw some pictures to illustrate your Haiku.

Perform

After you have written your poem and drawn some lovely pictures, it would a fantastic idea if you could perform your poem to your family members. Record your performance and send it our way so your teachers can see the amazing work you have done!

Have Fun! laugh
