Year 2 

Welcome to Hawk and Kestrel Class Page!

In Year 2 we are hardworking and enthusiastic learners that have a love for learning. We enjoy taking on new challenges and learning new things. We are kind, helpful and caring and we always try to set good examples for others in the school.

During our time in Year 2, we will be preparing ourselves for the big move into Key Stage 2. 

We work hard in daily English, Maths, and Phonics lessons and work to the best ability in every session. Throughout the term we engage in a broad curriculum, these lessons include Science, Geography, History, RE, Art and DT, Spanish, Music, PSHE, PE and Computing.

Important information:

We have PE every Thursday Please ensure your child has a kit in school, including pumps and that long hair is tied back. 

Every week we will visit the library to change our reading for pleasure books. Please ensure that their library book is in school.
